The closest beach (Fréjus-Plage) is walking distance (20 to 30 minutes), roughly 1.7 to 2 km (1 to 1.5 miles). The local bus will reach the beach in approx. 4 minutes. Free shuttle buses are also frequently available during the peak summer tourist season.

During December and early January, the town celebrates Christmas with open air cinema, street parades, contests, amazing festive lights and music throughout the town. Lots for families to enjoy and many shops, cafes and restaurants open throughout.

Frejus old town has many independent stores including chocolaterie, boulangerie, patisserie, coffee roaster, fresh seafood vendor and butcher. A year round, twice weekly market offers a unique chance to buy fresh from the farmer - local eggs, honey, olive oil, flowers etc there is always  something to do and see in Fréjus. You can also stroll 5 minutes to the train station and travel to Cannes in just 40 minutes to have lunch by the waterfront and watch the world go by or on a Monday visit the Cannes vintage (brocante) market to shop for vintage treasures. Or travel onto Nice to soak up more Côte d'Azur vibes. In the other direction is Marseille where you can connect by train to Paris.

And to keep the whole family entertained, why not visit Aqauland Fréjus located at Camp de l'abbé, 83600 Fréjus. It is a large water park with family-friendly slides, a wave pool and white-water rapids. It's ideal for a fun day out with the family, especially during the summer. The park offers a variety of slides, including the King Cobra, Anaconda, and Black Hole, which provide thrilling experiences for adrenaline seekers. There's also a Wave Pool and Surf Beach for family fun and Rapids for a river adventure.
